Agree and they had former player Brad Lester all over him as well. Something we need to do better with. I liked the tweets today from players current and former but staging that on signing day is a day late and a dollar short imo.

I would really like to know just how hard we worked, grinded and recruited him... I know for a fact one of our coaches threw n the towel on a out of state kid when we had an in.... And we had this kids parents on our side some what.. If the actually truth came out I think everyone would see why the majority agrees that we are Lazy ass recruiters..

Well there is one good thing about Auburn getting all of these defensive players.... Kevin Steele is an awful DC. He may be a decent position coach, but he's not a DC.

Turner is a good coach and he works to get recruits. Sallach and Hev are awful. Townsend wasn't too much better. We need to get off of this you have to work approach. We make it seem like the kids should want MSU and not the other way around. With social media, these kids are becoming more and more like drama queens. You either play the game or get 12th in the SEC in recruiting.

There is some truth there but it's not all that way. We see OM hit on a bunch of their big targets that turned into great players despite being recruiting divas but what about Auburn. They've been pretty underachieving the past two year - so is it coaching or kids that don't want to work hard?

You have to find a balance of kids that have a little diva off the field but are all business on it.

I'm also very bummed we lost Brown to Auburn. Agree it should have been us or UGA. I'm not going to go shift through their boards but what did AU sell him on that we don't have?

Both parents went to Mississippi State University. Their son goes to Auburn. The scam Newton saga is still a raw wound, and yet we had alumni send their son to Auburn. 17 that; it just isn't remotely right.
