We have 16 on the roster now, we lost 3 to graduation, and signed 3. 17 if Jordan Thomas ends up an OL rather than a TE. After 2016 we lose 5 to graduation, so at minimum, we need 5 just to stay around 16 or 17 on the roster. I personally would like to have 19 or 20 on there. That's why losing Lashley and Cushenberry was so bad. Sign those 2, then sign 4-5 next year and we are in good shape. Re-signing Champion will help.
As it is, I hope we can get 5 next February. Doesn't appear to be a great crop in MS next year either, from what I see on a 247 search.
