So make everyone take back everything negative they said on the board. In the end, the only one that hurt was Lashley!

I just high fived an ABC Compliance Officer at work. He didn't enjoy the high five since he was inspecting my work. But who gives a ****! We finally got some good news today in Jones and Simmons!

Any word if his commitment had anything to do with him thinking we had a beautiful campus?

Thank God. Needed some good news.

Damn good job on him. They fought their asses off for him, never gave up.

They missed on Lashley and Knott to Bama. Hurts, but what stud wouldn't want to play at Bama?

AJ has been a no hope for awhile, I was hoping Bama for him too, but when he took the visit to OM i knew it was done.

So, in the end, OM ends up with 2 stud WR's, MSU ends up with 2 stud DL's.

Pretty sure the trees in The Junction were the deciding factor.

They aren't lazy, and they do give a shit.

They just won't do it anyway but their way... right or wrong.

But never doubt that they care.

I know everybody been melting but when you look at this class we picked up some dang good players on the defensive side of the ball especially dl. Simmons, Kobe and don't forget marquis spencer throw in Thompson Morgan-Walker and Dantler and a couple others defensive haul has been excellent! Also does this mean Jeffrey didn't need as much "attention" as aj

Simmons is a great player who works hard and knows he is a great player. He doesn't have to have everybody to tell him how great he is, like some of the drama queens do. He is the type player that exemplies what the MSU family is all about.

He treated Turner with a promotion and a raise just to stay in the Simmons sweepstakes. It paid off today.

Let's just hope he, Simmons, was worth it.

Had we signed Lashley id be very excited right now.

Still better than expected after Lashley and AJ bolted though. It looked bleak there for a little while.

To me its Lashley and Farrar. A dang good left tackle and a tall outside receiver with speed are two things we really need but don't have. Those 2 would have filled the needs there.

Yea but you can get sec wr every year. Rarely can we get an nfl tackle. Lashley will haunt us I'm afraid.

Lashley and Cushenberry are the only two I'm really bothered by. Knott was always clear he wanted to get out of state. AJ wanted to get out of hsi home town, which I totally understand, although it's disappointing Mullen didn't build enough of a relationship that AJ felt ok trashing the Staff.

We needed at least 4 OL. Had we gotten Lashley and Cushenberry with this class, I'd feel really good about it. Add just Lashley and that'd still go a long way towards addressing our OL needs. Lot of pressure for all three of our OL signees to be hits at this point. Just no way to build a consistent OL when you're getting two contributors out of a class and most aren't ready until their third year on campus.
