With UM going all in and everyone else recruiting like they are, we are about to be Vandy of the West. It makes it tougher to compete week in and week out. You can tell the difference when our Oline (our lowest recruits) goes against the top level 4 and 5 star recruits (Bama and UM). We held our own everywhere we seemed to recruit well but our Oline was made up of 2 and 3 star and they got manhandled. The only option is to scheme your way against someone like that which is what teams like Boise State has done. We have typically recruited well enough except on the Oline where we consistently get the lowest recruits in the SEC. We can't consistently expect 2 stars and walk ons to develop into NFL scout team players.
