Recruiting rankings done matter. Unless you're in the top 5-10 because your depth of the class is stocked full of 4 and 5 star kids, it really doesn't mean much. Attrition and development matter just as much as who you sign. In fact, I'd argue that a comprehensive grading system should compare talent signed, attrition, production on the field, physical development, and individual matchup battles with other highly rated players. Pretty sure Dak lit up some secondaries full of 4 and 5 star DBs.
