He works for ESPN and relies on relationships within the SEC to get information. He won't burn those bridges. He's a mouthpiece for Birmingham. Let him defend them. It won't matter when the sanctions are handed down.

As P. Hack said, this is to be expected. Finebaum has found his niche and it has little to do with objective journalism.

He is going to need a huge breath mint at minimum after this. The whole show has become the freeze apologetics show. Gag

Answer me this. They can deny deny that they would never do anything such as pay players, who wouldn't . But what do you say to a player that you just paid to come visit and promised cash if he signs about these allegations? Sure can't say that they would never do anything illegal?

By the way, finebaum has to take a side, or the calls wouldn't keep coming in.

That's for sure. If he doesn't take sides he loses callers and if he loses caller he..........

THis is SOOOO true. Finebaum likes to tee the ball up REAL high, before he takes a good whack at it. The higher the pedestal he can place them on, the more he can muse about the larger radius of splattered guts, from the higher fall.

Rabies AND Meth? Is that as scary as a chocolate denied woman going through menopause?

Finebaum don't understand is who Ole Miss really is. He comes off like a novice whenever he does mention the Mississippi schools.

He never answered John's question about why would Freeze be trying to get players to grey shirt unless he knew about the letter. He also dodged the question about if this was all a bunch of bs and about minor sports and former staff's, then why wouldn't Ole Miss release it? He sounded like he had bought into the reverend's pitch. Archie from Ocean Springs must be his lover. The guy Craig from Long Beach who said he was a reb is part of the network. The spin is on and they tried to blame MSU and these findings have nothing to do with MSU.

Freeze may be a good guy, I've never met him. But Paul giving him the benefit of the doubt automatically is stupid. That ship sails as soon as you google "Hugh freeze cussing out fan after Texas a&m game"

I watched most of the Finebaum show today and it was nauseous the way he was virtually felating Freeze. It was also obvious that they were screening the calls, so Ole Miss fans got through, but State fans didn't. There was one guy from Gulfport who was making a lot of sense, but Finebomb treated him as a liar.

Anybody catch the caller from Memphis around 5:00? Sounded like a young guy said he went to school with a current OM player who made it known that he was paid to go there. Said he wouldn't mention names. Surprised me. When they said he was so and so from Memphis, I assumed he was going to be a bear defender to the rescue. Finebaum basically just said thanks for your call.
