Nothing too earth-shattering. I would imagine the 4 star and 3 star concentration would look similar. More evidence that MSU needs to stick to what we are doing. Stick to our area, and plenty to go around in that area. We all know Alabama seems to be in on the MS kids this year, so I'd personally like to see us more on this list:

Or....maybe it's just that big time college football interest in the southeast, Texas, and southern Cal skew the numbers. If guys aren't from big cities or don't get to a bunch of camps then they aren't evaluated on an even playing field. I still believe that lots of potential players aren't evaluated and slip through the cracks. Stars just mean certainty of raw talent.

Oh yeah, it's amazing how guys step foot on the campus of Alabama or Florida State and instantly become Five star talents.

I'm sure both of the things you mentioned are 'factors', but they only sort of skew the data a little. Facts remain the same.
