Read the comments, especially the one from the author. "You wonder what might have been had he played elsewhere". Pretty patronizing if you ask me. Of course, it wasn't the fans or coaches that actually convinced him to come to Starkville, and it wasn't the other players around him either that helped win all those games. He did it all himself. It wasn't Mullen's offense. No sir.
The struggle of a 'have not' program never ends until you reach the top and achieve something that cements you there (ie SEC championship). They are going to make excuses for every bit of success we ever have until we force them to believe.
