- South Carolina and Ole Miss are SEC teams MSU has a winning record against.
- Although the Gamecocks have won the last two meetings, the Bulldogs have won seven out of the last 10 overall and three out of the last five in Columbia.

I know we want him to be a finisher at the basket but that's not going to be his strength. He's a lot more likely to get to the free throw line than finish at the rim at this point in his career, which is something he could also turn into a strength of his.

Surprising stats. Just seems like our turnovers come in clumps and at the worst times, being more impactful. Seems we will commit a handful within a couple minutes of actual clock time and allow the other team go on a large run. Makes them seem more in number than they actually are.

I disagree to a point. Sure, Ole Miss was undermanned but they played about as loose as you could and weren't expecting a win. We pressed early and you could tell that the losing streak was getting to our guys early which kept that game close. When we went on that 12-0 run, the game was basically over at that point. I expect us to give USC a good game tonight and if we steal a win we could go on a win streak with @Missouri and winnable home games. This team is a lot better then you think if we can just get out of our own way and learn to play better together. That has been the key and what has created the bad chemistry is some of our guys haven't accepted their roles totally on the team. When they have, we have played extremely well.

It's not our turnovers. They have a 29-13 edge on the glass and have been able to take 9 extra shots. They actually have one more turnover then us. 10-9. I think the reason you think we are turning it over more then we are is the cluster effect where we turned it over three straight possessions without taking a shot.

yep! We'll be young but only get better as the season goes. These seniors have already reached their peak which was more of a foothill than a peak. And I think we're doin one of those over seas trips in the off season so that should give us a jump start on developing some chemistry

I think what kills our defense the most is Ware sucks something awful at it. He is flat out terrible. He doesn't understand when to front or when to back the guy down low. He doesn't understand basic man to man principals like switching and help side defense and he fouls a lot. He has also been a guy who has hurt us down the stretch because of foul trouble and thus not in the game when it counted.

We should win Saturday against a hapless Missouri team. We then play at LSU which will be an L but we then will get three winnable games at home against Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, and Vanderbilt. If we keep fighting, we could be 5-7 or 6-7 and go on a mini-run. We need to get something out of Thomas, Zuppado, and Daniels. Holman is continuing to improve and I think the more minutes he continues to get the better he will get.

It's a concentration issue with these upper classmen. There is some ability but the mental errors after 4 years is astonishing. No other D1 team plays like us in that regard. Teams may suck because they can't shoot, not athletic enough, etc but it doesn't look like a clown show for half the game. I mean hell every other 4 minutes we look like a pretty damn good team.

We should win Saturday against a hapless Missouri team. We then play at LSU which will be an L but we then will get three winnable games at home against Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, and Vanderbilt. If we keep fighting, we could be 5-7 or 6-7 and go on a mini-run. We need to get something out of Thomas, Zuppado, and Daniels. Holman is continuing to improve and I think the more minutes he continues to get the better he will get.

Yea we have a chance to keep this season from being a total shitstorm. If zup and Daniels could just be glass eaters that would help out a lot. Tell them not to shoot ever just out fight the other guy for the rebound and immediately pass it
