Does anyone have any information regarding the shit smell ice we have?
A guy I know said the ice makers are hooked up via long black rubber hoses and that the hoses are the reason for the smell and black particles in the ice? Don't know if true or not, but I did have black shit in the bottom of my cup during Auburn game last year, and got a piece of ice from the drink next to me, and it had black shit in the cube.
If our ice makers are hooked up via 20th century rubber hose technology, has anyone heard of some possible upgrades to tie them in via hard water piping? This cannot be that difficult to do. I will gladly go up before the season starts and do it myself, as I just recently finished re-plumbing an old new orleans home. Don't know how many there are, but shouldn't take more than a day to hook them all up. We can spend millions on an expansion but cannot provide clean, smell free ice to the ticket holders. Simply unacceptable.
