Just curious, why Maxie? I don't know enough about his coaching and recruiting abilities to have an opinion so I'm genuinely curious.

Another great guy with an NFL pedigree. Can coach. Got committed the #2 player in Tenn at DB.

Probably about as long as Sirmon. We want coaches that are moving up. Let's be real the business of coaching has changed to where the shelf life at a school isn't long. It's just the way it is and the people that freak out about a coach leaving have to get their mind wrapped around the fact that Tom Osborne and Bobby Bowden are relics and the system isn't going back to that. There are way too many jobs out there to expect to keep a staff together for more than a full recruiting cycle.

If you aren't a member of the "Country Club" any requests given to the staff fall on deaf ears....
