Pretty sure that was Adesola Badon that got beat- and I don't think Deion Sanders could have defended that pass. It was just a perfectly executed play.

Kendall gave up the 4th and forever against USCe in 2000

Badon gave up the TD to Peerless Price in the Championship Game

Still the most electric sporting event I've ever been to. When 'lightning in a bottle'* returned that punt.....don't have the words.

No shit. I wish we could keep the same staff more than one or two years for once. Why is this such a problem for State? Other teams seem to be able to maintain their coaches, but damn we're like a revolving door...just folks coming in and out as they please it seems.

No other teams don't really. I would say the vast majority have turnover nearly every year. We just have tunnel vision concerning our team. Coaches change a lot more now than 15-20 years ago.

Also loved his headline, "MSU's Townsend bolts for Titans". I know a lot of folks can't stand him and i realize he's just doing his job and reporting facts, but he does use wording that is "demeaning" at times that rubs me the wrong way. This being one of them. "Bolts for Titans", like he couldn't wait to get the hell out of Starkville.

Don't think anyone on here calling it a lateral move or blaming him. We just want some retention and consistentcy each year so recruits can at least be comfortable with their position coach.

He basically responded to someones tweet talking about needing to beating OM Saturday. The person had said it's a must win...he basically went on about how it was not a Must win and people shouldn't ever say that statement that it really is not a "must win" ....technically it's not a must win but it was just weird that he would respond to that and be so adamant about it.

Bonner is the worst beat writer ever cause of his negativity & "backhanded comp's" toward our fanbase he's supposed to be covering. Why are we stuck with such an asshole that does nothing to help our program in anyway? I don't know if we have a choice or not or if it's solely up to the CL as to who they hire to cover certain fanbases...but he sucks assholes & looks like he has worms.
