Mississippi State and Georgia are meeting for the 43rd time

meeting 64-56 to claim 2 of the last 3 meetings. The Bulldogs'
last win in Athens was a 72-71 decision on Jan. 31,

► MSU claimed its largest margin of victory in the series with
Ole Miss with a 79-51 win Monday night.
► State is 15th nationally in scoring defense (52.9 ppg), 17th
in scoring (78.6 ppg) and 3rd in turnover margin (+9.6).
MSU is 5th nationally forcing 23.8 turnovers per game. It
has won the turnover battle in every game this season.
► State grabbed 20 offensive rebounds Monday, its 10th
game with 20-plus offensive boards. MSU is 3rd in the nation,
claiming 20.0 offensive rpg.
► Sophomore Morgan William is averaging 10.4 ppg in SEC
play following a 16-point showing against Ole Miss. She
was a season-high 9 of 10 at the line.
► William leads the SEC with 102 assists, while her 5.4 average
is 2nd.
► Among active SEC players, Victoria Vivians and William are
the top true sophomores in career scoring and assists, respectively.
Dominique Dillingham is the top junior in steals.
► Victoria Vivians had a 17-game double-figure scoring streak
halted Monday, but she continues to lead the SEC in scoring
at 17.5 ppg

Bad loss. Georgia was 1-4 in the SEC. I don't care how you spin it our ladies thought they had this game playing half ass. They need to tighten up if they want to do something this year. The last few games they have played like shit other than ole miss. We are so predictable on offense sometimes. Just dribble around the perimeter and find Vivians. That shits getting old. She is our best scorer yes but McCowan needs to be a force down low and could score at will if she really tried.

Wow... just saw we lost this game. Just when I thought we were gonna get on a roll. I guess my thread title saw it coming..since we had just beat UM...which I forgot about somehow.
