-Mississippi State hasn?t started SEC play 0-5 since losing its first seven in 1985-86 in Bob Boyd?s last year at the helm.

-The Gators have won five straight against the Bulldogs overall and four in a row in Gainesville. MSU?s last win at the O?Connell Center was in 2008, 68-59. (I was there... What a fun trip and game... Place smells like a damn swimming pool due to the swimming pool the floor down.)

Yes Ware has played hard for 4 years but he's not exactly a rocket scientist. As for Sword, senior day can't get here fast enough. I've had it with his entitled attitude. He wants to be the alpha dog and not let Malik steal his thunder but yet he hasn't made a meaningful play in 4 years

That was one of our best halves of the year effort wise. Ready has played well. Holman has played decent and is getting better. We get the ball to start the second half. Thomas with a great buzzer beater to get us a lot of momentum. We are a team that if we play loose we can beat some people. Let's build off that first half and get a win! :)

This team is too talented to give up on them. We still have some winnable games left on the schedule. We steal a win here we can still get to 9-9 in the conference. The schedule was very front loaded.

Yeah, that is the question. Can we finish. You have to like our chances though with Ware spending most of the first half on the bench. Holman and Johnny did a decent job defensively. Their guy has a crappy form from the free throw line. Making him earn his points at the line is a decent strategy.

Bad? It's the only reason Florida came back in it. They were able to rape our guys with their defense. A charge that was a text book no doubt about it charge was called a block they were able to score free throws on. Daniels literally did nothing and they called a foul on him that put Florida to the line that put them up one. Things like that. Calling a blocking foul that was obviously a charge which they sank two free throws on. Also, allowing contact on Sword's moves to the basket but calling touch fouls on our side. There was at least a 10 point swing from the calls alone. That's hard to overcome on the road.

Moody's game is all about explosion... He explodes to the basket on drives. He explodes off screen to shoot 3's. He gets explosive height on his jump shot. If that explosion isn't there, he's an undersized spot up shooter

Yeah, he's starting to get a lot better. And he effected the game on the defensive end. I think we're a game or two away from seeing his light switch really start to come on.

You can tell he is going to be a great player for us. I thought he did a great job overall tonight and if we had reliable shooters instead of Thomas and Sword on the perimeter he should get some assists on some inside out passes that he had tonight. Passing to players like Carter, Peters, Q, Wright, and Newman next year will make players like Holman, Herard, and Ado average at least a couple assists a game. Wright was re-ranked in the 50s on ESPN which means all six players are all top 100 players and high 4 star players. If Newman comes back, should be a great battle at PG. These same people saying that Holman shouldn't shoot threes need to remember back to when we signed him. He shot something crazy like 50% from three as a senior in HS. I agree that the shot with one minute to go was not his shot, but Holman needs to have the confidence to take those because his ability to stretch the floor should be a real weapon in the future.

For all the immature plays he makes, Holman is still the most physically talented big on the roster. Remember that with his injury there was a time when we were expecting him to miss the entire season. It's a lot easier for me to live with a talented freshman with limited practice/playing time taking a bad shot than a junior who's been starting for three years.

You can tell he is going to be a great player for us. I thought he did a great job overall tonight and if we had reliable shooters instead of Thomas and Sword on the perimeter he should get some assists on some inside out passes that he had tonight. Passing to players like Carter, Peters, Q, Wright, and Newman next year will make players like Holman, Herard, and Ado average at least a couple assists a game. Wright was re-ranked in the 50s on ESPN which means all six players are all top 100 players and high 4 star players. If Newman comes back, should be a great battle at PG. I wouldn't pencil any starters in yet. What I love about this is the competition should only make them better. If Q does start next year at the 2, he will be much better then he is this year just from the practice battles alone. I'm just looking at whatever happens this year as gravy. With how our schedule closes, we should get to 7-8 wins. I think we beat Ole Miss this weekend pretty soundly and finish up around 7-11 in the SEC. Not great but certainly not terrible. There still is an outside shot to get to 8-9 wins if we can start to finish some of these games. We have already played our toughest road games. Our team just needs one guy down the stretch to step up or just play a full game and win by double digits. I think we get there.

Fl is statistically the worst shooting team in the sec and they shot it well, I thought the officiating was suspect at best, we got nothing from ware, and still lost by only 3. Q looks great, Holman showed he is going to be ok, Newman will be great if he comes back one more year, and our older guys, despite not being over talented, have not quit despite the season being shot. We keep improving and we are going to win big soon, starting Saturday.
