Reading that Townsend will move to safeties and TBuck will coach corners...Am I late on this?

I hadn't heard it, but am not all that surprised by it. I knew we had actually hired 2 cornerback coaches and one would have to move over.

I actually like this. I wasnt overly impressed by our young corners this year. Of course Will was a stud but the rest seemed to lack something. Give Buckley a shot at them.

Maybe meaningless, but maybe having a young former CB as a safties coach will give us a boost back there compared to recent years. Seems to me like safties have to play a whole lot more man coverage these days what with spread offenses and receiving tight ends split out, and teaching from a more coverage-centric approach instead of a more traditional safety one might do some good.

Like preachermatt I'm just hearing of this . Personally had rather Townsend coach both so TBuck can concentrate on crooting and just help Townsend (perfect world scenario)

Louisville's safeties were coached by Greg Brown, who was also Louisville's recruiting coordinator. He just left to be cornerbacks coach at Mizzou and was previously the DB coach at Bama...
