Lol. It's more like the "media" gets their reports from rumors and message boards. Like I posted the other day, nobody on any of the boards had a clue who we were gonna hire. All wild ass guesses.

i wasnt impressed with the hire of Mullen when we did. didint have much of a reason to be, but the old, 'he hasnt proved himself' and 'i dont even think he called the plays' were reasons. The real problem is that all us message board hero's are going on information that we largely banter around on message boards. very little is actual inside info.

and therefore , until signing day and our first game next fall, NONE of us have one reason to be impressed or unimpressed

Looks like Sirmon was the lead recruiter for Mique Juarez a 5 star LB out of Cali while at USC. I believe his two favorites were mentioned sometime last week and they were Ole Miss and USC. Think it's too late for us to sway him down to the ville?

Sirmon is my boy!! He & Keith Bullock used to bring the wood back in Tennessee's glory days of the early 2000s. No clue if he can coach but as a Bulldog/Titans fan I couldn't be happier!

I'm a hell of a lot happier with this guy than I would be with Paul Rhoades. I like that we are going after some legit recruiters with connections across the country. We will see if he is an X's and O's guy too. With the LB's we have been putting in the NFL lately and now with all 3 defensive coaches having NFL experience why not come to Mississippi State?
