Not sports related...just letting you know.

Maybe some of you Bowie fans can post some of your favorites, since we have a lot of music junkies on here.

Terrible news just keeps on coming. A friend of my daughter was telling her a senior student at a local high school died of a massive heart attack this morning. 18 years old. Great kid I was told. Dealt with health issues his whole life. You never know so hold them thighs.

Damn...cancer really sucks...my favorite without a doubt would be "Fame" with "Under Pressure" with Freddie Mercury in a close second. Other greats to name off the top of my head are "Space Oddity", "Rebel Rebel", "Cat People" and "Life on Mars". Damn he'll be missed, RIP David Bowie.

For us in the early 80's they played "Diamond Dogs" before every baseball ball game. That's when we knew it was game time while standing at the fence.

Those ar definitely some of my favorites too. Hope I'm not alone in my love for his role as Jareth the Goblin King, from Labyrinth. Some great songs in that soundtrack.

I had the pleasure of introducing my wife to "Under Pressure". The first time she heard it, she accused "those people" of copying Vanilla Ice.

"Glam rock" was terrible.....but Bowie was special.....from "Take it easy" from Ziggy Stardust to "Heroes" as a polished GQ type he ran the gamut continuously morphing and inventing himself.....personally this saddens me.....not as much as when Brother Gregg Allman will pass which should be a day of mourning ....but still a sad sad day for real music.

My favorite Bowie music was 1983's Let's Dance. Great songs on there:Modern Love, China Girl, Let's Dance. Bowie always said he could make a hit pop album if he wanted so he did in 1983. RIP David Bowie.
