Since they love published articles on Oxford- make sure this one gets around too:

In the last 2 weeks- Ive seen articles about Oxford's higher crime levels than Sville and now more redneck.

Pretty funny stuff having Oxford over Starkville. Ocean Springs as #6 is laughable. That's the most cultured town on the coast. That said, their description is dead on.

that's the most cultured town on the coast.

Not just the coast, but in MS as a whole. OS is a great town.

Gautier all the way down at 51 is hilarious. Vancleave, 'Goula, and Gautier are like the Iron Triangle of gulf-coast redneckdom.

Haha the whole article is pretty funny. Booneville should be top 5. Also, Corinth as #1 is pretty funny. I have family that has lived there for over 30 years. Yes, while there is a strong redneck presence, the vast majority of Corinth is pretty snooty and all about perception and the popular opinion of you in the community is based on how much money you make. I can think of a ton of places that should be listed well above places like Corinth, Ocean Springs
