We did not offer Orgeron. Don't take the bait, he's just trying to get a raise as I and many others expected earlier today. His agent probably threw that 900k figure out to try and get LSU to bite and up his current 550-ish k salary.

Allen could still be the guy, or it could be Rhoads or someone else...but either way, we have some very quality interviews lined up and have already landed a huge coach in Buckley. This job is very attractive with our talent, facilities, DeShea, Buckley, Turner, and us being in the West. We WILL hire a really good DC.

Enjoy the fact that we got Buckley, bc that is a great great hire, and then kick your feet up and wait for the good news on our DC in the next few days. We are upgrading.

Are there any other rumored candidates besides Allen and Rhodes?

I don't know much about Rhodes from a DC standpoint but seemed have top 10 and 25 defenses while DC at Pitt and Auburn.

What kind of scheme does he run and how is he as a recruiter?
