Gooden, a 4-star defensive end commit out of Haywood High School (Brownsville, Tenn.), announced via Twitter that he’ll be enrolling at Holmes Community College in Mississippi. That decision would likely delay his ability to play for a Division I program until at least the 2018 season.

I'll say this, Raekwon has worked really hard all year to try and get qualified. He has even taken football time away(7th period) to focus on the act. He might not make it but I promise you he is working his tail off to make it.

Having relationships with multiple JUCO's is not a bad idea either.

Look for Drelan Porter to enroll at EMCC.

I wouldn't hold my breath on that. Tommy Champion and Cam Myers were on the same plan and supposed to be in our current class coming in as well and now both are going back for another year of JUCO.

It's awesome if the player can pull it off, but I don't expect it. At least until we have a player actually pull it off.

Great to hear. I hope it's not one of those situations where he signs with Bama if he qualifies, but us if he doesn't. I want us to get this guy and him be qualified...Would be a HUGE pickup for our OL, & make this OL class pretty damn good
