Noah and Jesiah gonna run Stansbury out to half court like old times? If Mrs. Stansbury shows up the "defense" chants will be the loudest in the hump in the last 4 years.

How old are Jebediah and Solomon now? Still ball boys? We need them asking questions to our players on the bench during a crucial game like old times.

I honestly thought that kid was going to get backhanded to mid court.

I think it's very classy and respectfull that the administration is honoring him before the game.
He deserves to be honored after 22 years of service. Ben Howland has mentioned Stans several times, said he hopes we pack the stands and give him some love!

Absolutely- give him a plaque, cheer for him once, and then send them home with a loss as Malik drains a jumper at the buzzer

I'd go for that 34.

I'd expect our fans to give him a loud and warm welcome. The man dedicated a couple of decades of his life to our basketball program.

It's Wednesday, not Saturday.

He deserves something like this - he gave us sone great times. had a family friend that was a close friend of his, will never forget meeting and shaking Jonathan bender's hand as a high school kid. still have a 1996 game score sheet signed by basically the whole team after the auburn game (last game that year) - he wasn't HC then I know.

thanks Rick , hope an afternoon of basketball, mississippi state style, returns soon.

I have never posted anything that Stans has said to me. But I texted him after the game last week that Howland said that he would be coming in and hoped he had a big crowd to welcome him and give a warm reception. He texted back and that big crowd to beat us. I texted back, well that was mentioned.

especially since his faithful followers returned from the wood-work after Howland was hired.

I might be premature in saying this, but he must have had a helluva lot, judging from the crowds last year and what I imagine the crowds will be this year.

I might add, don't you imagine the product on the floor the last few years had something to do with the crowds?
