This will be my first bowl to miss since Mullen's been here, and I'm having mixed feelings... Thanks to all those going to support our team.

Couldn't make this one. Anyone know how many tickets sold thru Bulldog Club and estimate of total MSU fans?

This is the first bowl I've missed since Jackie was coach but promised the missus a beach vacation this year. Rained every day so far!

I don't post much, though I read the site daily. I am heading there tomorrow from Louisville, KY with 2 others.

First bowl to miss since Cotton Bowl but just couldn't justify this one. Hopefully, my absence will bring good luck. I am ashamed to say but the egg bowl performance broke my spirit with this team. Maybe, Dak will go out in style and kudos for those making the trip.

Yeah, that's completely understandable. I think the chance to see Dak in maroon and white one more time is too much to pass up though.

Ditto on broken spirit & emotionally drained. Too far for me to travel also.

We left SE Arkansas at 10 this morning and are an hour out with only 3 stops. It's a treck but we have seen a lot of maroon on the way.

We are here with all of the family (7). Rang a cowbell in downtown already. The 8-1/2 drive was a bitch, but worth it. Truck loaded down for tailgating! Hail State, Hell Yeah!

Ring like hell, guys! Hopefully, you guys can pull us through. I think this game is one of the biggest in Mullen's tenure if for no other reason than the psyche of our fan base. I feel like many of us are teetering on the edge of apathy. With last year's Egg and Orange Bowl debacles, Mullen apparently doing everything humanly possible to find another job, this season's Egg implosion, and the perennial average/below average recruiting, I am having a hard time holding the rope.

Winning the Belk Bowl would be a nice start to getting me back from the ledge. It doesn't help that everywhere I turn some Spice Boy is talking about when they are leaving for the Sugar Bowl we should be playing in! You and I both need this one Dan. Hail State.

Was going to buy a ticket and fly direct from Jackson, only 75 min flight, but my party backed out. I really didn't have enough money to spend either and don't have the time to drive it. I've been to 2 of the last 5.

First one we've missed since Mullen arrived. It's the closest for us, geographically, but even so the money just didn't work out this year. It's an expensive family trip. So we'll be watching on television and ringing the bells at home this time. I'm pretty torn up about missing it but them's the breaks this time. Hope they pull out a win for Dak's last game. Not optimistic about next year. Sigh.

Making the drive over in the morning. Family and friends includes nine of us. There was a handful of cars we noticed decked out as we made the drive back to NC yesterday.

On the way now with 5 others. I've never been to Charlotte so I was pretty excited about getting the Belk bowl. I plan to make this a free trip if we win by more than 6. If we don't I'll be ready to fire Mullen!!!*** sort of

No apathy here. I just couldn't get the day off or any around it for that matter. No way to make a trip. I may be able to leave early enough to grab some wings and watch it at the house.

It's at least 60/40 in favor of NC State, and I may be being generous. There are a lot of State fans here though.

Not bad for a game in their backyard.
