Hopefully he'll be a DE next year. Rumor is he will be playing there during bowl prep

Are Ole Miss fans pissed because Nkemdiche didn't get it?**

That's where I thought he would end up eventually. I'm pretty pumped to see how he does.

Agree. It could really help us to have a player like him at DE when we play A&M & Ole Miss.

He's listed at 6'4 243. Marquis Haynes is 6'3" 220, CJ Johnson played DE at Ole Miss at 6'2" 225, & Jadaveon Clowney played at SC at 6'6" 260.

I think Green would be that speed rusher that we desperately need.

He is working at DE for the bowl prep- and if his heart is in it- he'll never go back to Lb'er. He will have found his home

He'll be the fastest DE to ever play at MSU if that's the case.

He could end up being one of the best ever if he embraces it. If he makes the move and sticks with it I bet he starts there next year, or is a "co-starter".

Green, AJ, Calvin, and Coleman is a pretty good group of DE's.

We need someone like Green that can get to the QB and BRING HIM DOWN. Irritating to me to see all of these QB's on other teams seemingly always getting away from our defenders and making plays.

There are 5 DEs in the top 30 NFL salaries.... 0 LBers. Its a passing league, the guys who do the passing make the most money. Next in salary are the guys who stop the passing guy.

agreed - I also think his stock rises higher and faster @ an end position than it would at LB .... lots of teams have good LB corps but good def ends are at more of a premium

This guy has always been a DE in my mind. It's up to Turner to coach him up in these bowl practices so he can make a big jump in the spring.

uh huh..... wow.

Ry. Brown is supposedly in a cast so the Green to DE may be a definite for the bowl game at least.

Not sure..... I'm guessing the Brown Bros are going to get a lot of play time in the bowl game. Ry. Brown supposedly had a stress fracture that he played with for a lot of the season.

EDIT: It's a leg fracture as well

Green could be used as a passing rushing end in the bowl game.

Obviously he's knew to the position, but he would be tough to block as a stand up end.

Well, all we can do is try... Once our beat writers get a hold of it they can't resist. This would've never made it public in Oxford.
