Nkemdiche had a good season and generally was double-teamed by every opponent. But Florida?s Jonathan Bullard, Alabama?s A?Shawn Robinson and Jonathan Allen and Texas A&M?s Myles Garrett frequently were double-teamed, as well, and each has better stats. In addition, Alabama, Florida and Texas A&M had statistically better defenses than Ole Miss; in the cases of Alabama and Flrida, significantly better.

Nkemdiche is no better now than the day he stepped on campus. He screwed himself going to play for a 2nd year position coach.

So did Tee Shepard. Coulda played for Desha freaking Townsend. But no he pissed it away and now doesn't play at all.

CJ had better stats and double teamed also!

Maybe if he had a brother that smoked the fake weed and got into fights on Florida beaches when he was supposedly doing the Lord's work in Haiti he would have gotten more press.

Good article with facts/statistics to back the coaches' decisions.

CJ played within himself doing what he needed to do for the position. RN tried to be the show boat all the time and majority of the time he ran himself out of the play.

"Kelly had a big season. But the guy the coaches chose as the first-team quarterback, Dak Prescott, did, too — and he did it with less help than Kelly. Plus, when you compare their SEC-only stats, Prescott’s are better. He completed 67 percent of his passes for 2,528 yards, 17 TDs and four picks; Kelly was at 63 percent, for 2,427 yards, 16 TDs and eight interceptions. Prescott outrushed Kelly in SEC play 378-360, and Prescott had eight rushing TDs and Kelly seven."

My favorite part of the article for those that don't read it or any rebels to see it....

You'll never find a more wretched hive of whining and delusion than in Oxford, MS.
