I knw it will never happen but if WV fires Holgerson (which it's looking like they will) I would LOVE to have him as OC.

Yes, but they not firing him. Too expensive

Also, Mullen would have to give the reins of his offense to Holgo and either demote or totally fire The Ogre from his "running game coordinator" role. Mere words cannot describe the upgrade Holgo would be over our Ogre but it ain't happening.

If/when Holgerson is ever let go it wouldn't take long at all before he's a HC again. I don't see him having to go the OC route.

Oh good we could have a week or two of Mullen to WVU.****

It's only 275 mile from Ursinus College to Morgantown.

I agree, but he'll probably have a take a pretty decent step back. He hasn't let WV crumble, but he also hasn't really done anything impressive there since moving to the Big 12. I mean, Bill Stewart did a better job there.

I never realized this, but Dana coached at MC for a few years in the late 90s.

We don't need a new offensive coordinator. That's ridiculous. Mullen lead one the best offenses in the history of the SEC last year and would have this year if the oline was worth a shit. We need better offensive linemen.

I disagree unless you are talking about a non power five team.

You are correct. Our skill guys for the most part as good as about anyone in the SEC.

I'd take Steve Campbell as o-line coach and call it a day.

How often do head coaches leave their programs to be a position coach

If they are a JUCO head coach and the position is as a SEC assistant, I would imagine most JUCO coaches would do that if given the opportunity.

Central Arkansas isn't JUCO, it's an FCS team.

But your point is still valid, at least sometimes. One example being Mark Hudspeth. He goes from HC at North Alabama to position coach at State, then a better HC position at ULaLa.

It's probably unlikely we'll see Campbell as O-line coach here, but Hevesy probably make nearly double what Campbell does currently.
