It was BS. The Oxford people didn't want Matt calling their game because he went to MSU. And he couldn't switch to do the 6A game because of a prior engagement.

They only made themselves look ridiculous and petty. Let's remember this incident the next time an Ole Miss person calls anyone of us "obsessed".

Matt is a really good announcer and I've always enjoyed listening to him. And no question he would have been completely objective. It's their loss. And speaking of, karma got Oxford HS last night in their loss where D.K. Rice...I mean Metcalf was stopped just short of the goal line for the loss.
