It would be pretty easy to me to put Ohio State in over North Carolina. Ohio State's only loss would be a fluke loss to another playoff team (assuming MSUnorth wins) and North Carolina lost to a 3 win South Carolina team. I hate Ohio State, but its pretty easy to see they are the most talented team in the country. They are littered with NFL talent all over the field, lots of high draft picks.

Because that 11-1 ACC Champ UNC would have one good win -- Clemson -- and a terrible loss to South Carolina. Let's look at how they got to 11-1.

Hell, we'd be 12-0 with this schedule. Seriously, three teams with winning records on the entire schedule. That doesn't deserve the playoffs regardless.

Completely agree. If I were adding teams based on "fit" it would've been NC, Clemson, aTm and Oklahoma.

OU declined already. Don't need them. However, I believe it will be NCSU and VPI, not UNC and UVA. I don't think UNC will give up being a basketball league AND high academic reputation of ACC. They may sacrifice one, but not both. Won't happen. Cavs won't come without them.
