You had to be a family member of a player according to security due to the close quarters in the Palmeiro center.
I'm not disappointed, but if I'd driven from out of town I would have been.
I'll still attempt to make the 12 noon practice tomorrow and report from it.
To all who have mentioned my posts: you are entirely welcome. I've lived in Starkpatch since I was 3 (minus a 20 year stint advancing my career) and kind of feel like it's my duty to do what I can to keep those of you out and about this great land informed.
Don't sweat this year. The difficult schedule should have a similar effect that it had on the baseball team. That is to say we'll be ready late season for the tough games we HAVE to win.
Coach has said it well. We are talented enough to handle this challenge this year. The coaching staff has work to do and none of this season will be smooth sailing except for Alcorn. But we can do better than most expect.
I really like coaches like Collins and Turner. They are going to produce a different product this year than you have known.
