Good offensive half. So so defense keeping it close.

We are going to get destroyed by teams with good bigs. We just have no interior defense. I had slight hope ndoye could provide that and while he's much bigger and stronger than last year, he's not really a much better player

We're improving, but I'm not sure we can even make a run at the NIT unless Holman comes back strong and can defend the post some. We have nobody that can defend inside.

Student section was at least half full. The same cannot be said for the regular season ticket holders. Oh wait? Are we not supposed to criticize them because they work?

We did some good things tonight but we looked distracted and played with poor effort for about five minutes in the second half which got Texas Southern within four. Ware didn't play at all with the same intensity he played with all year and that guy he guarded just out efforted him for a lot of offensive boards. We are still learning and I still think the NIT is a very attainable goal if we can keep improving and we get Malik going.

For the players? Doubtful. They get exceptions and favors from professors. Don't get me wrong, they should. They are required to play whether or not they have a final the next day or the day of a game.
