Alright now we really can wonder who the next coach here is going to be

I'd take him

Will freeze interview?

IMissJack

I'd take him

He can't win big games in the SEC east with 5* players, why do you want him?

I'd take him in a second. He was yards away from a national title just a few years ago... closer than we've been.

If Freeze lands the UGA job I'm gonna laugh my ass off!

If Mullen doesn't take the job, I would fire Diaz and after Pruitt. Make him Associate HC and let him have full control of the defense. I would require him to retain Tony Hughes who is our best recruiter.

Hell no!

That said, that would be the most Mississippi State hire. He is Sly Croom with college experience.

If Uga hires Whittingham bc we dick around I'm switching Bulldogs

Except that Richt has an SEC title and multiple 10 win seasons- something Crooms will never know as a HC.

Worst comparision ever

He is on their board..... So is Fuente.

Fuente is out of play.

Richt would never win more than 3 SEC games/yr here.

You really want Whittingham, a 20-25 Pac-12 coach, THAT bad? There are plenty of coaches out there with equal or better resumes as Whit. It's not like he's a can't miss, once-in-a-generation type coach...

Kirby Smart has been mentioned with that job for a long, long time....

Yes

Why?

Whoever y'all decide State needs, he better be one charismatic SOB that is a helluva recruiter. That has the strength of Samson to carry all the buffle bags of cash needed to out recruit OM and Bama.

I think Richt would be an awesome hire for us. As best I can tell he was fired for not beating Florida enough and not winning a NC. But he beat Georgia Tech almost every year he was there.

Fedora ain't worth a crap without Chizik. He was perennially 7-6 in a crap conference except for one season. He has underwhelmed at UNC until this year. This is the first year he has ever had a defense. No thanks.

Everybody from the SEC should beat GA Tech...oh wait.

Yeah, Smart is the odds-on favorite to get that job, and they won't have to ask him twice.
