Practice Uniforms...

Flab brought up the practice uni's in a different thread, but I thought it would make a good thread.

The triple stripe on the shoulders looks absolutely bad ass to me. I hate that big gaudy looking thick white stripe we had last year. Plus it was going the wrong way. The ones in the pic below would look great with either a solid maroon helmet or with the triple stripe on the helmet as well.

What are your thoughts on the practice uni's, and do you wish we would go back to a solid maroon helmet (no stripe) and have these triple stripes on the shoulders?

The helmet stripe doesn't bother me. I hate vertical stripes down the shoulder. It should be like it is in the practice unis IMO. I do wish we would go with the white face mask though.

Shit the ones we wore last year made the 2009 uniforms look badass. Adidas has an awful design team. They suck so bad to Nike - it's just pathetic. Nike updated a lot of uniforms this year for teams and just about everyone that I've seen is badass. I can't wait for our contract to run out but we will probably not use Nike again - which sucks.

Just go back to the white facemask and maroon hats or just basic shit like 1986 when Don Smith ran all over Tennessee.
