Two of my favorite and most exciting MSU plays ever are on Field Goals and both against Arkansas.

Can't argue with you and I'm lucky to say I was in attendance for both. 10th grade for the Westfield kick that cold day in Starkville. And another cold one this past weekend.

Ahem....you mean Hazlewood?

Anyway- that Hail State Highlight has been my favorite so far.

Ha. Yes. Mind is fuzzy from those days. Too much whiskey in between. The north wind was brutal that day and I didn't have a jacket. Now section 2 ( believe B before) was catching the brunt of it.

This last game reminded me of 1992 at Kentucky. We were down 29-36. Drove the field, scored to make it 35-36. Went for 2 and made it to make it 37-36. Kentucky got the ball back, drove the field, and lined up for a last second field goal. We blocked it and I can still hear Jack Cristil saying that we blocked it to preserve the win, and we could wrap this one in maroon and white.

This weekend I'd rather be ahead 45-0 in the last minute of the game and get it inside their ten with a minute left and not take a knee.
