OFFENSE
Dak Prescott, QB, Mississippi State
- Prescott had the best game by a quarterback in MSU history and one of the best in SEC history on Saturday against Arkansas. He became the first player in SEC history to account for over 550 yards of total offense and seven touchdowns in the same game.
- He was also the only player in the NCAA FBS to achieve the feat this year and first by a Power 5 player since 2013. Prescott led the Bulldogs to their largest fourth-quarterback comeback (trailed 11) since the 2007 Egg Bowl. He became the eighth player in SEC history to throw for over 500 yards in a game as he finished 38-of-50 for 508 yards and five touchdowns.
- The seven TDs responsible tied an SEC record, while Prescott joined Johnny Manziel as the only SEC players to ever record over 550 yards of total offense in a single game. Dak broke his own single-game school records in passing yards and completions.
- He also rushed for 46 yards and two scores. In the process, he became just the fourth player in NCAA FBS history and second in the SEC to throw for 60 touchdowns and rush for 40 touchdowns in a career.
