He has a shutout going and has set down like 9 straight.

Per Twitter: Jacob Lindgren has now thrown 5 shutout innings - using just 39 pitches to do so. Bourne still leads 1-0.

Jacob Lindgren's final line: 6 IP, 4 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 7 K.

This is what I was hoping to see out of him this summer.

I like how he gave up a few hits in his last inning, but gutted it out without giving up a run. Last year he might have broken down and allowed the other team to get a big inning. That's a good sign to me.

It's hard not to get a little wooly when thinking about the potential of the starting rotation next year. They just need to put it all together.

I done toldja

K's and no walks makes Will happy happy. Add in the fact that he gets as many ground balls as Graveman and he's a 1st rounder for sure. Best pitcher in the league this coming year.

If you are as right about this as you were on our road trip to A&M when the season began then we are in business! Man, I sure hope this is the case.

Don't think he is the best in the SEC, top 10. I predict Woodruff, Young and Lindgren. All three were drafted. First time in school history?

He will be a better pro than holder. IMO.

I can't recall it ever happening.

Woodruff- 5th round
Lindgren- 12th round
Young- 21st round

And let's not forget Trevor Fitts.

Holder is a closer/relief pitcher only. Lindgren will have the option to potentially do both in the pros.
