Pretty sure they've never allowed the live bulldog into the stadium. Not sure if any reason has ever been given, though.

They've probably had a bad experience with Arkansas women and dogs before. It wouldn't be good for them for that to be seen on national tv while the kids are still up.

Supposedly there is some policy against live animals at the stadium in Little Rock. At least that was the justification for games there. Not sure if their hog was allowed in.

They classify the stadium as a "showbarn", and you have to pay a fee to be judged.

IIRC, a few years ago, Little Rock told UA that their mascot, Tusk, couldn't be in the stadium on the playing surface. So instead of letting it out to the masses that Tusk wasn't allowed in the stadium, they made a rule all live mascots are not allowed. I guess that applies to Fayetteville too.

Y'all have to understand this insular bunch though. A few years back, they had an hour long discussion on the 5oclock Little Rock sports talk about how State Troopers accompanying visiting coaches had no jurisdiction in Arkansas. Therefore it was pointless for them to be there. I called in and reminded the idiots they take ASP to away games as well.

Their fan base is extremely insular.
