Oh i agree. We dont deserve to be, but it seems they are sending us out at 3 loses to LSU who is ranked, A&M not ranked, and Bama who is ranked.
Ole Miss lost to Florida who is ranked, Memphis who is ranked, and Arkansas who is not ranked, yet somehow the are off and jump back in at 22? That just doesnt seem right?

The media discounts us, no matter what. For the media to view us on equal terms with Ole Miss, we'd have to win a National Championship. For them to view us that way with perennial powers, we'd have to win two.

Losing to Houston doesn't affect your ranking, but losing to bama is highly frowned upon.

It makes a little more since if you look at it from the angle that the ranking is how far away each team is from making the final top 4, rather than being a traditional ranking of who the voters think are best 25 teams that week. Just a little though.

Only the first 10-12 spots are where they are really ranking folks. Everything after that is just propping up those first 10-12. What I mean is, the last half or so are ranked in order to make the case for the first half.

I never said we should be ranked.. We shouldn't.
And yes after the top 12 it's not that big a deal in the big picture but if your going to have a 1-25 then get the full 1-25 right
Memphis and UMiss shouldn't be in there....

Only 3 teams fell out ..
Wisconsin was ranked 25 last week they don't play and remain at 25
OM not ranked last week plays the same "bye" team and they leap frog an 8-2 Wisc team to 22.
With Memphis.. They lose to Houston and don't drop ? Is a Houston close loss that much of a factor..?

The 2 teams that deserve to be ranked ahead of UMiss and Memohis are
Arkansas just knocked off 2 ranked teams both on the road
And Washington state (same 7-3 record a OM) and just beat UCLA on the road...

And if the committee is wanting to get non power 5 teams in there so bad.
Toledo is more deserving than Memphis.
9-1.. Won their conference I believe Tuesday night went on the road and beat a good bowling green team and beat Arkansas on the road..
