Also, more good news - Shareif White and Genard Avery commit to ULL.

That means we told them no room at MSU for solid but not great players.

Can anyone link the current commit list for this upcoming class from the 247 site?

Good for them, they'll excel well there.

Thanks. I figured he wouldn't be on there yet, but I find 247's ratings of our other commits to be more accurate than Scout.

What kind of back is he? Does he have good speed?

I'd say both Power AND speed...

I think he's more of a power back than speed, but he's got both. He's also a good student who to my knowledge has never been in a bit of trouble. He's a guy we can put in our system and never worry about any off-the-field issues.

To me his high school video looks like a cross between Dixon and Ballard. Maybe a little JJ Johnson-ish. What do you guys think?

He looks like the RB of the future to me- we are going to be loaded at TB whether Shump stays at RB or not

I agree, he has a good blend of speed and power. He can also catch the ball.

We don't need to forget about Dontavian Lee, though.. He's gonna bulk up quick in college. Power guy.

Scout shows him as a 3-star, as does 247composite. 247 shows him as a 94, which is closer to how I felt about him.

I was just thinking that 34 does Shump now move to LB, with Robinson, Milton and now Williams and Lee.

Good question- and one that will be answered in the next 10 days most likely

Shump is a RB.

Who is Nick Fitzgerald? I didn't realize we had two QB's

Shump is a RB.

Agreed. I don't see the need to move him to a different position. I see Shump and Williams coming behind Robinson and Milton as the perfect situation for us. Even with Dontavian Lee, I think the situation will work out.

I'd love to add the juco tackle out of scooba to pave the way for these rb's

Avery Gennesy is one of my top 2. With DAK taking over next year at the qb or someone pushing him, we need all the big body studs we can get to protect and push on the OLine.

Faced this kid. He is an absolute beast! He will be another lower tier player that will make Mullen look good. As he is only a 3* but plays like a 5* in big games against elite level talent. He is also a good kid. Good pick up.

He's a 4* on 247

He has a good burst at the line. He really seems to read his blocks and accelerate.
Also very nice pad level.**
