Better or worse?

Can Jenkins, Calhoun, Williams, and rankin help us get this fixed?

I don't see any way possible for it to be worse. It has to get better.

I'll say this. If it's worse we won't make a bowl game

Exactly, and given we will no longer have 4 OOC gimmes (we get BYU next year), getting to a bowl just got a little tougher.

Rankin is a tough one. Were all of those coaches wrong? He looks the part. At the same time, how could he not beat out Warren?
Flowers should be in the mix next year too.

I look for us to start: Jenkins, Calhoun, Clayborn, Desper, and Senior. Rankin and Flowers are the wild cards. I don't think Story, Moon, or Williams will be ready to contribute yet.

I legitimately think the staff was looking ahead to the fact that Senior will be gone after next year and that we don't have a decent tackle ready to replace him. So they RS Rankin so he's available in 2017 when Senior graduates to play RT. I mean besides Jenkins and Rankin, who else can we say "yeah they are good enough to play tackle in the SEC". I don't see any others on the roster right now.

I heard Rankin and Story were looking good

FYI star rankings of that O-line according to Rivals: 2 star, 2 star, 2 star, 3 star, 3 star.

Any OL that can't start on this OL is not "good".
