Pretty badass. I guess this the kind of stuff you do when you've got that Nike money flowing in.

What player is ever going to turn that down? That is just ridiculous

Call me crazy, but I don't like it. That's probably the least homely feeling place I've ever seen; it looks like the set of "Prometheus." I'd feel borderline uncomfortable walking into that "War Room" every day.

Have you guys seen this? I'm going to go out on a limb and say this should help them recruit. If only ole Phil Knight were a MSU grad.

You have a good point and it's not a place I'd want to live or anything.

That war room looks like something out of the Soviet Union.

Didn't realize this thread existed when I posted the other thread about this. My apologies.

No need to aplogize to me. I'm not into the "Germans" thing.

Don't get me wrong, it's very nice, but what do they have that we don't in our great new facility that was probably about 1/3 of the cost? Who really needs a damn barber shop or TVs in the mirrors at the football facility?

Other than to attract recruits, some of that flash just seems pointless. The college football arms race is just getting absurd.

It is excessive & science fictiony by our deep south standards, but by Oregon standards it's just typical state of the art.

Last but not least, it pretty much guarantees Oregon will remain a top 10 program for the next 20 years.

I will say, it fits in well with their program's new age type identity. Nobody can deny that.

Oregon is constantly changing football uniforms because they don't see football uniforms as football uniforms.

They see them as space suits.

Look at it from that perspective & the look & feel of their new complex makes perfect sense.

Right, it's very sleek and modern. Seems to fit what they are going for.
