Lots of these kids getting it done before school starts. I think we will have 5-7 more bc of the draft. Three or four commits have a real shot at going pro and of course any roster player eligible that has a good year and the pros like will be gone, for instance Wes Rea who is a fourth year junior.

I don't think so. I thought he was a 2015 guy. McCord is a 2014. But of course I could be wrong.

Based off of what I've read about him, McCord sounds a little like Aaron Nola. He's a righty with great pitchabilty and location of all his pitches. They both sort of throw across their body. McCord doesn't light up the radar gun, but he throws hard enough with really good sink and should be a low 90s guy by the time he gets here. I also read that he recently threw a no-hitter with Dulins Dodgers. Butch definitely has some good things to work with in McCord.

Very nice pick-up. This is a guy that could be a weekend starter for us. Again, you notice the things that coaches say about our recruits- competitive.

Also, I don't believe that this is Gene's mystery recruit.

Guys, this is a big time recruit right here. Cohen is kicking ass on the crootin trail. Looks like MSU baseball is here to stay. Keep up the good work Cohen and Company.

You think we are getting commits now, just wait until they (2014 and beyond) start visiting during fall ball and football games. The majority will be for 2015 and 16.
