He's a decent position coach, but he's an awful coordinator. He's definitely not the coordinator his dad was.

Not surprised but that would be a stupid move. Payton is an offensive genius. It's not his fault that the front office is about to be/is in shambles and he has very little to work with. He's made Ben Watson into an all pro, look what graham is doing in another system, Pierre Thomas, willie Snead, the list is endless of guys that he's made into great players.
