Pretty incredible. I thought he got Treadwell'd.

I've really liked him since his recruitment. He's just a gamer. Hope he makes some big plays tonight.

To me, he's Randall Cobb 2.0. Great ball skills, quicks, etc.

I think he is our best slot receiver because he has shown that he can consistently stretch the field.

Anybody see what the other wr from Starkville tweeted? Had him behind Treadwell and Bucky on the sideline. Hope we can get him. Any scoop on that? I'd take Bear over Treadwell way more physical of a player.

I think the NFL is going to take Bear over Treadwell too b/c the NFL scouts have shown that they value elite size almost as much as they value elite speed for 1st rounders. Especially if Bear runs a 4.5.

2015 draft:
#4 Amari Cooper 4.3 speed
#7 Kevin White 4.3 speed
#14 Parker 4.3 speed
#20 Algohor low 4.4
#26 Perriman 4.2
#29 Dorsett 4.3

In 2014, there were 5 wrs taken. the only two that didn't run a low 4.3 were both 6'5" in Benjamin and Evans. Benjamin ran a 4.61 actually.

Treadwell may be a top 10 pick..... Bear is looking at the end of the 2nd or early 3rd right now. Bear will probably leave this year, but another year would really help him mature into a receiver.

Bear isn't going higher than treadwell. And bear isn't going to run 4.5. He still will be an nfl receiver because he's big, strong, physical and has good hands

Kelvin Benjamin is a great comparison for Bear. I would think Bear will run between 4.6 and 4.7.

It would be a huge mistake for Bear to leave this year. He has to learn to high point the ball with his hands and to catch the ball away from his body consistently on underneath routes. He's not going to have the separation he gets in college and he's going to have to do everything perfectly catching the ball at the next level. If he can make those improvements he'd be a lottery pick rather than a mid to late round guy, which is a potential $10 million difference over 3/4 years.

I keep seeing that paidwell will go higher as the publicity will be working on his side. However, I just can't wrap my mind around how his production is less than #1s.

2014:
#1 47 for 680 & 9 tds
paidwell 48 for 630 & 5 tds

2015:
#1 33 for 524 & 6 tds
paidwell 61 for 870 and 6 tds

It'll be interesting to see how they stack up once they've been in the NFL 3 years or so.

agree completely.

I think the $10M mark relates to Chris Jones as well. He would miss at least that much going out this year vs next.

to you or anyone, will Treadwell break a 4.5 40? he doesn't look to play fast to me.

What do you mean his production is less than Bear?

paidwell has had a monster season. We don't target Bear enough to be honest. I still question paidwell's speed, I don't think he is that fast, but we will find out at the combine.

That's a NCAA violation but hey, up there it doesn't seem to matter
