I am shocked the nation's #1 high school RB hasn't rejected all national championship contenders and committed to Ole Miss, sight unseen.

Looks like #TheNetwork hasn't gotten any NCAA memos.

Memphis recruiting class rankings the last 4 years. Let Ole Miss get whoever they want Freeze is a terrible coach and they will never win anything of significance

Is he 5'8" and 170?

Maybe he's having a crisis of faith and Reverend Freezus the Pious will just be his spiritual guide.

It's just amazing that the NCAA continues to sit on their ass while Ole Miss makes a mockery of them. It doesn't take rocket science to figure this out.

If all he will receive is a "7 game slap on the wrist" at worst, they can buy, I mean sign two of guys and just split their probationary periods to first half and last half of season and have a full season with a 5 star guy and 2 more seasons with two 5 star guys. Reward > Risks

Guys, this is good news for us, the more time they waste going after kids that they have a 0% chance on, the less time they are spending on kids that they have a legit shot at, which means come signing day, it won't be Plan B's, it will be either an empty scholarship or a Plan C.

I'm curious why this even needs/deserves/warrants a thread? How many 4* RB's has OM signed the past 4 or 5 years? And how good has the running game been? Who was their last decent one? Brandon 17ing Bolden? Geez....Until something changes drastically with their style of offense, not to mention o-line scheming, they could recruit a Leonard Fournette every year and it still wouldn't make a difference.

Meanwhile, give me a "no star" Vick Ballard every day of the week, and I'd be thrilled.

Chillax....Y'all let too much get under your skin.

I wasn't getting under my skin. Just pointing out that they are still operating as usual.

Good point. This kid is Michigan bound. I hope he gets his market share on all his visits.

Wasn't paidwell expected to sign with Michigan at one point as well?

Not really. They were in it but OM was a real threat once they won a little bit. This decommitment is not a surprise to anyone who knows what's going on. Michigan is the team to beat. If you knew you were going to Michigan, would you want to go on your OM visit (or any other visits for that matter), committed or uncommitted?

BeastMan

OM is really good at playing perception and this visit will be played up as recruiting momentum, as it should. Same deal with Cece Jefferson and Byron Cowart last year. You'll see their media do a lot of "Now that he's on campus, anything can happen...". OM has something like 5 RBs on roster, 4 committed, and then this guy. You do the math on that and tell me how it works. I do think they'd drop Street if it came to that but they're not getting Walker. They'll play it up and get a few more high ranked national kids to visit to create a big weekend.

You also need to really look at these high profile guys recruitments and it's easy to see what the motives are. Some guys commit and are quiet. Some guys like Cece Jefferson do all 5 officials, numerous unfficials, and then the few days leading up to national signing day burn the road up to LSU, Bama, OM, Auburn, and Florida. Not nessarily those schools but multiple power 5 schools that play the game hardcore. We all know what Cece was doing and I'm not mad at him. Get you're market share youngin.
