I was thinking about this today at lunch. How many former State players are now coaching now in days? I came up with a few:

Zo Miller
Clarence McDougal-Was coaching for Glenn Davis last year when CoLin won the state championship. Now at Hinds as the secondary coach.
Larry Williams- DC at Hinds, was also coaching for Glenn Davis.
Dorrsett Davis- Would love to have this guy coaching DLine for us one day. He has done a great job down at Gulf Coast.
Sam Williams is at Northwest Rankin
Chris Gardner is at Northwest Rankin
Wade Bonner is coaching up in Arkansas
The Morgan brothers are coaching at Warren Central
Fant is the OC at Goula
Cody Upton is the DC at Brandon.

Anyone else know of any guys coaching?

Pretty sure Rod Gibson is coaching somewhere. Last I heard he was a MGCC, but he may be somewhere else now.

I think Michael Fair is still HC at Pillow. He'd be a crazy good OL coach for us. It's not a coincidence that SP's "drop off" coincides with him leaving as OL coach. In fact, he was Coach Woods' choice to succeed him as HC, until he left. Guy can flat out coach.

Agreed on Dorsett Davis. I suspect he'd be one HELL of a motivator.

Matt Caldwell is HC at Taylorsville. He was a reserve O Lineman at MSU during Sherrill's early years.
