How does a football team in the "blue grass state " put artificial turf in? It seems more and more teams are going to this stuff. I don't like it. Anybody know what the majority of the players think?

I hate turf in my honest opinion. Every time you see a player go down due to a serious injury for example last year Treadwell vs Auburn they come from playing on turf 9 times out of 10 or ACLs MCLs etc..

Some teams are getting rid of it.

Fake turf sucks, real Turf (Grass from MSU) is much better, green, authentic, environmentally safe, and just a good choice.
NorthernMiss sucks. Good night.

No. Miss going to grass next year. I'm sure it'll be green dirt by the time we play on it in Nov.

No. There is no excuse for artificial turf south of the Mason-Dixon Line.

It's going back to natural, and I think for recruiting reasons bc of more injuries on artificial.

I think it was Head to Head the other day that was talking about a study that the NFL did on injuries, and like 60+% of all knee and ankle injuries occurred on turf and like 85+% of all ACL tears occurred on turf......I can't remember the exact numbers, so if someone else heard the segment feel free to correct me.
