This is an area that actually excites me more than any other for the up coming schedule. Remember that feeling of "we actually have some great WRS"? I'm getting that now.

Next year I have predicted that we will not have a drop off. After looking at the schedule, I can see MS ST having a better year. Starting out no worse than 7-1. Over all I see 2 losses.

Sat, Sep 03 South Alabama W
Sat, Sep 10 South Carolina W
Sat, Sep 17 LSU L (not that I dont think we can win.. but for the sake of worst case)
Sat, Sep 24 UMass W
Sat, Oct 08 Auburn W
Sat, Oct 15 BYU W
Sat, Oct 22 Kentucky W
Sat, Oct 29 Samford W
Sat, Nov 05 Texas A&M W
Sat, Nov 12 Alabama L
Sat, Nov 19 Arkansas W
Sat, Nov 26 Ole Miss W

So what these running backs?

Look at this competition..

1- Williams
2- Lee
3- Murphy
4- Gibson

Gotta love that

Would love to see Dear more involved. We really need an RB that can make people miss.

Murphy is going to help a lot in short yards.

It's a nice thought, but it'll probably be more like this:

1- Holloway
2- Shump
3- Williams
4- Lee
5- Murphy
6- Gibson

Mario Haggan says Mullen needs a Fullback in his offense. Says it could be Shump. I agree 1 zillion %

We dont lose 1RB or 1LB for next year (I dont count Zach Jackson)

I like the lb's being back a lot more than the rb's

What's the WR situation for next year?

Its looking great. The only losses should be Wilson, and morrow. We add more than we lose.

I like the lbs too. In fact, there is nothing that I can't get excited about next year. I even like the schedule.

I swear for some reason, I feel we are going to RTGDB next year and take our shots down field. I don't know why, but I think we will have some more swag next year with some of these younger guys getting involved.

What's the WR situation for next year?

Morrow is a Sr- he gone
Wilson is going to get mixed info- some saying go ahead with some saying stay and work on your technique- my guess is he bolts
Ross will be back...Gray and Fred also...Myles, Dear...Mixon works into the Slot mix

Loaded at WR next year- with Johnson being a good, young TE. Walley maybe returning...now a juco TE possibly? Altho I wouldnt rule out a RS and then a move to OT for him

I just hope we don't take a good to great TE and move him to OT based off potential. I know the program has been built on things like this, but if he presents a mismatch and gives our other guys a chance to shine, let's not try to develop too much.

Why do you not like the schedule?

November.

November.

And two away OOC games. Especially BYU. Can't overemphasize BYU. After 2000, we should never have agreed to another game with them.
