I and a lot of other State fans had a lot of confidence going into Oxford last year, especially after OM had just been blown out by Arkansas and their QB was hurt. Turned out to be different from the outcome we expected.

I never had a lot of confidence last year because the game was in Oxford. I have a lot of confidence this year because the game is in Starkville. When they teams are even remotely close, the home team wins.

Two years ago played with a true freshman QB for three and half quarters and still won. They played with passion and heart. It will be the same this year except the QB will be a 5th year senior looking to go out with a W vs the in-state rival.
