Apparently liked his MSU visit today and tweeted out a pick with Townsend.

I hope we get to tweet a pick of Townsend and a big bass. Paul says odds are low. I know good and well he could flourish here, so I'm cautiously optomistic.

That is very interesting. If he wants to wait a few years to play, I guess he'll go to Alabama. If he wants to have a chance to play right away and start, we are the better option. It's just whatever he wants to do.

While I do agree we're getting notoriety from banks and slay, Alabama places db's in the nfl every year. If we get him, it'll be Townsend and early playing time

Agree. Any school can get a player into the NFL. If you are good the scouts will find you. Maybe Townsend can convince him that he can develop him and that he'll compete for playing time immediately.

I was at Scott Field in '86... I think Humphrey had 286 yards... I was fortunate enough to see Alexander rush for 291 as a frosh in BR vs LSU in 96... I think that's the single game record now...
