Is it just me, or have our scripted first possession drives been much less successful

It seems that even dating back to the Tyler Russell era we were always successful at moving the ball on our first possession and usually ended up with points. This year it seems like we've barely gotten it to midfield

We scored first possession against aTm (FG). We fumbled into the end zone on first possession against USM. No score on LaTech. No score against LSU. TD against Auburn. northwestern state doesn't count.

All of these are going by memory, so correct me where wrong

So 3-2 is what I have with one game that doesn't count.

That was one of the keys last year, foot on throat early, and kill the other team's will. This year, we seem to let opportunities get away early and keep games close.
