It's never even crossed my mind to.

I'm actually glad the SEC finally came up with the rules of when to ring. The stadium is much louder at field level when we yell, opposed to ringing the bells. If anything the conference did us a favor by forcing us to actually tell.

A couple knew the correct rule, and I have no idea what they are talking about with the nonstop ringing but I have been at almost every game since the last rule revision and our fans adhere to the rules as stated. There is a definate point where everyone stops ringing and starts yelling. I am sure Kentucky fans watch our games about as often as I watch theirs, which is almost never.

Someone posted in the thread that actually praised our ability to stop ringing instantly when the center is over the ball. One educated Kentuckyan.
